Walking the tightrope of perseverance mixed with dark wit and inappropriate humour. Because laughing at the absurdities of teaching is cheaper than therapy.
Behind the Brand
Our Mission

Stewart Rothbottom
Chief Cynic Officer
Stewart has been teaching high school science for what feels like several geological eras. He's seen it all, from exploding volcanoes (intentional) to exploding students (unintentional, mostly). Once passionate about igniting the flame of scientific curiosity, he now mainly focuses on preventing actual flames in the lab and ensuring his coffee cup is always full.
Favourite subject: Chemistry (it's basically sanctioned explosions)
Least favourite phrase: "But I saw on TikTok..."
Hobbies: Sighing heavily, perfecting his eye roll, and collecting evidence that his students might be aliens
Life motto: "I teach science. I can't fix stupid, but I can certainly measure it."

Susie Bloomfield
Mistress of Misery
Susie had dreams of inspiring the next Shakespeare. Now, she'd settle for students who don't think "LOL" is an acceptable way to end an analytical essay. After years of battling dangling modifiers and butchered iambic pentameter, Susie channels her frustrations into creating products that speak to the soul of every English teacher who's ever wanted to ban the phrase "I don’t care."
Favourite book: "1984" (it reminds her of faculty meetings)
Least favourite sound: The collective groan when she announces a poetry lesson
Secret talent: Can recite all of Macbeth's soliloquies while grading papers
Life motto: "To teach, or not to teach? That is the question. The answer is vodka."
Our Philosophy
At Snarky Teacher Stuff, we believe laughter is the best medicine (except for a higher salary, better benefits, and smaller class sizes, but we can't provide those).
We're committed to creating products that help educators find humour in the absurdity of their daily lives, one item of sarcastic merch at a time.
Remember, every purchase from Snarky Teacher Stuff comes with our patented invisible cape (imaginary and complimentary) as well as a free reminder that somewhere, somehow, there's a student who’ll remember you fondly – probably the one who's making your life hell right now.
Join Stewart, Susie, and our community of wonderfully warped educators. Because if we don't laugh, we'll cry – and there's already enough liquid in our classrooms from all that spilled, rancid coffee.
